The new generation BOMAG RS 500 is versatile and can be used for both cold recycling and soil stabilization and foundation improvement.
When used as a recycler, old, damaged bituminous pavements, including the surface course, are removed and crushed. A new binder is then mixed in.
During soil stabilization or consolidation, previously spread lime or cement is mixed in.
At the same time, the BOMAG RS 500 can be used for ground profiling. Sensors keep the rear carriage in the correct position at all times. Compensation of up to five degrees (left/right) is possible. Working on difficult terrain and soft materials is no problem, thanks to all-wheel drive and anti-slip control.
