Standard plates (1992 series)
– With Coat of Arms (since 2026) – format: AB-1234 or A-1234
– With Euroband (since 2004) – format: AB-1234 or A-1234
– Without Euroband – format: AB-1234 or A-1234
Personalized plates (1992 series)
– With Euroband (since 2004) – format: Custom text (up to 7 characters)
– Without Euroband – format: Custom text (up to 7 characters)
American-size plates (1992 series)
– With Euroband (since 2004) – format: AB-12 or A-12
– Without Euroband – format: AB-12 or A-12
Details:
All plates use the oval LV.
– Euroband variants include the EU flag on a blue stripe
– Non-Euroband variants include the flag of Latvia on a transparent background
