The existence of Farming Simulator 25 was leaked. Recently, a third-party company called epicDB, similar to Steam DB, gained access to the Epic game store database to reveal several unannounced games, one of which was Farming Simulator 25. This is big news because the studio behind Farming Simulator Giant Software has not said anything about what is coming next in the Farming Simulator franchise. But what about looking back? Giants Software released a new flagship game every other year between 2009 and 2019 due to the pandemic. It was a three-year cycle between Farming Simulator 19 and 22, and it has now been another three years since Farming Simulator 22 was even announced.
So I believe that the announcement of the new game will be coming soon. One of the biggest farm events, FARMCON24, is in just three weeks, on July 6th and 7th, 2024. We are expecting some announcement there or maybe sooner. We’ll have to wait and see, but it is the first time we see that Farming Simulator 25 is real and will have the number 25 in it. So, I’m no longer wondering if there will be a rebrand or if they’re going with a non-number system.
Just wait for an official announcement, and it could be June 25th. It’s a Tuesday, and Giants love to announce the news on Thursdays. The fact that it’s got a 25 in it makes even more sense.
