Golden Opportunities starts with the basics and a plan: build the rest of the map TOGETHER.

Replaced the pre-placed gold ore at the Gold Quarry with a spawner that produces up to 240,000 litres per game hour. This fixes a mod conflict that could make the original ore appear as a different material. To remove the spawner, sell the yellow sign beside the quarry ramp. Requires a new save to take effect.
Updated the map’s pre-placed log sell point to accept wood on pallets and in containers from compatible wood autoload equipment. You can also unload directly from a compatible trailer in the marked bay.
Added a 20 × 20 m Gold Ore Spawner to the construction menu for $100,000 producing up to 20,000 litres per game hour.
Added the Unrealistic Gold Foundry for $480,000. It has four times the storage and twice the production speed of the standard foundry, with the same hourly processing costs. Its gold bar and golden tractor statue pallets can be lifted by hand.
Added autoload support to gold bar and golden tractor statue pallets from both foundries, I recommend ChrisS and RileyS’s Pallet Silo With Autoload Trailers.
Reduced the polygon count of the full-size golden tractor statue and made loose gold nuggets look smaller in piles.
Added Golden Opportunities Forestry Edition as a separate map choice. It replaces the American elm trees with spruce and includes plantable spruce saplings.
Improved bridge placement so placing a bridge is far easier.
Moved the visit point for plot 50 onto dry ground.
Extended the shop delivery area to 31m
This is the Pioneer Edition, an open landscape where you can create your own farms, fields, roads and production areas. You have the essentials to get started, a small grass field, and room to decide what comes next. The land is divided into parcels that let you expand a little at a time, earning your way from a small operation to something much bigger.
And across the river, there’s a Gold Quarry.
Getting to it is part of the challenge. You’ll need to grow your farm, buy the land, afford a $500k bridge and make a route through the trees before the Gold Quarry becomes part of your business. Once you reach it, you can process gold ore into nuggets, gold bars and eventually golden tractor statues. There’s a valuable reward waiting on the other side, but you’ll need to build an operation capable of reaching it.
